On 20 September 2026, Sofía won in the GT category of the Costa Rica National Car Racing Championship. It is her first win in cars.
She is 14 and races against adult drivers. She moved up from karting to car racing in 2025, with her first laps at Autódromo Parque Viva.
Thanks to her family, her team and everyone who supports her at every round.
